Privacy & Safety

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance to me as your therapist. I follow ethical and legal statutes as it relates to client confidentiality. Your privacy is protected, with limited legal exceptions such as risk of harm to yourself or others.

There are only a few reasons why I would have to break confidentiality:

  1. If client may be an immediate danger to themselves or others.
  2. If the client is endangering in child or elder abuse.
  3. If I am ordered to release information by a judge in a court of law.
What platform do you use for virtual sessions?

A secure, HIPAA-compliant platform is used to ensure your information remains protected.
